Execution with the intended purpose
Megane RS 265 is first and foremost a fetching three-door hatchback. Its ability to track the circulation is a big bonus, especially in the form of Red Bull Racing RB8.
The edition is limited to only 120 were made available to the Australian market to lean towards the interior of the Renault Premium and focus on the driver.
The back seat, MINI style, is better for the occasional accommodation and daily use (although the door is opened greater than the MINI). And thanks to their looks coupe, the driver only has a limited view of what is happening behind the three-quarters of the C-pillar.

Megane RS 265 recorded the shortest 60-0km / h stopping distance (13.9m) in the company, although the discs are too hot after a few hard laps. It was also just 0.2sec from the all-wheel drive WRX in 0-100km / h acceleration, record 6.7sec pass.

Satnav was described as average and controlled through a quick-based input in the center console which we found to be far from intuitive.
Climate control worked well and HVAC controls are integrated into the cluster minimalist. The only problem that small text makes them difficult to read.
Value for money
There are a lot of Renault Meganes in the model line-up which includes a five-door hatchback, four-door wagon and two-door convertible. But what is puzzling is the fact that on top of that, there are less than six variants sporty Megane RS 265.
Prices start from $ 36,990 (plus ORC) for the Limited Edition version and top out at $ 51,640 for the bells and whistles Trophy +. All are equipped with a hoarse 195kW / 360Nm 2.0-liter engine and six-speed manual transmission.
